Dan Darling - Member Emeritus

Dan is an army brat originally from Fort Leavenworth, Kansas who graduated from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri with a BA in political science. Dan has worked as a counter-terrorism consultant for the Manhattan Institute's Center for Policing Terrorism (formerly the Center for Tactical Counterterrorism) since early 2004 and has served as an intern at both the American Enterprise Institute and the Subcommittee on the Middle East and Central Asia of the US House of Representatives in the summers of 2004 and 2005 respectively. In the summer of 2006, he served as a Publius Fellow at the Claremont Institute and is currently working on a variety of projects relating to terrorism and international security including serving as a consultant for an upcoming documentary on the fighting in Fallujah.

Dan has written for the on issues relating to terrorism. Due to Dan's current professional responsibilities he has been 'retired' from ThreatsWatch and the Center for Threat Awareness.
